Study of Investment in Carbon Offset Projects

For greenhouse gas emissions that cannot be reduced in the short term, the Company is studying carbon offset mechanisms through investment in both domestic and international projects that meet recognized standards and credibility requirements. This initiative serves as a tool to support greenhouse gas management and the long-term transition toward a low-carbon business. The 2029 target is to appropriately consider the use of carbon offset mechanisms for residual emissions that cannot be reduced in the short term, in support of long-term climate objectives.
